Project Goal:
Create two book covers for the same book. For one, use digital methods and traditional methods for the other. Create compelling book covers that accurately represent the mood and subject matter of the story.

Process
I had already read this book but I went through it one more time, making note of important moments, feelings, and images. After I thought I had a good sense of the story and how the cover should represent that, I began putting together moodboards.
I began sketching ideas for book covers, some that fit in with each moodboard. These thumbnail sketches helped me to solidify some of my concepts and were the starting point for my final iterations of the project.
