Process

I started by listening to Bastille’s Doom Days album all the way through, taking notes about the feelings each song seemed to be referencing as well as the feeling search song created in me while I listened. 

I then took those notes from the listening session and created a word association and brainstorm list, trying to narrow down some of those abstract feelings into more physical and image representations.

From here I started thumbnailing, creating concepts that represent the vast range of abstract feeling in this album.
