Process
I started by researching Le Bon Macaron; learning who they are, their goals, their target audience. I needed to understand them in order to be able to take that and reform it into a new brand for them.
Once I had a good idea of who they were, I began to put together a moodboard, what I thought they should strive to look and feel like. Once that was done I created a series of thumbnails exploring the different aspects of the brand and its personality.
At this point, I met with my professor and we picked a handful to continue with digitally. I spent a while playing with different versions of each and landed on my final one.
Once the logo was locked in, I put together a brand board to lay out the brand’s personality, goals, look and feel. From here I began to think about appropriate touchpoints. I decided on a menu, two options for packaging, a double-sided sandwich board, a to-go bag, window vinyl and a to-go coffee cup.
